Ironton Distillery’s Small Batch COVID-19 Hand Sanitizer

Keep It Clean!

For March 2020 Ironton Distillery wanted to do our part to combat the spread of Covid-19 as well as to help our local community. With the initial shortage of available hand sanitizer at the beginning of the pandemic, our distillery team created Keep it Clean! Hand sanitizer with our high proof distillate from our own stills. We made pre-packaged small travel-sized containers available to be picked up from our RiNo Denver Tasting Room. With our second batch of hand sanitizer, we were able to produce it along with our neighbors at Blue Moon Brewery. Guests were able to bring their own containers of up to one quart to be filled outside of our tasting room, but essential workers and first responders were given up to one gallon free.

Our wonderful guests, when picking up their own hand sanitizers, were able to make either a monetary or non-perishable food donation to the Food Bank of the Rockies. Thanks to everyone who participated with the donations we were able to raise $2,098 along with being able to deliver a car load of canned food to the food bank.

We are so grateful to Blue Moon Brewery for producing sanitizer with us and to all the guests who participated in picking up our Keep It Clean hand sanitzer!
