Bourbon on the Beach Anniversary & Straight Bourbon Release Party
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our 4th anniversary and the debut of our Colorado Straight Bourbon Whiskey!
Through the collection of seashells and the use of some pretty clever treasure maps, guests were able to search the distillery gardens for some fantastic prizes from Do303, KoolSkinz, Uncharted Outdoorswoman, I Heart Radio, Blue Moon, The Local Drive, Denver Microbrew Tour, Family Pupz, SoFar Sounds, Denver Broncos, Big Power Yoga, Denver Botanic Gardens, Temper Chocolates, Kong, and Revel Gear, plus free bottles of our delicious straight bourbon. In addition to games like beach bowling and corn hole, we had live music, a dunk tank, and traditional island dancers Kalama Polynesian Dancers put on a beautiful show complete with fire.
We had some specialty items in keeping with the theme of the day including 4 cocktails. Specials for the day included
BEACH STREAKIN' made with Colorado Straight Bourbon, Lavender-Spice Syrup, and our housemade Citrus Bitters.
GOOD VIBRATIONS made with Colorado Straight Bourbon, our own housemade Amaretto Liqueur, Turmeric-Pina Shrub, Lemon Juice, and topped with a splash of Club Soda.
ISLAND PUNCH made with our Platinum Rum, Barrel Aged Rum, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, Lime Juice, and Cherry Syrup.
MAI TAI TEA made with Platinum Rum, a housemade Spiced Rum, Sweet Lemon Tea, Orange Juice, and Cherry Syrup.
The kitchen also crafted some beachy eats including
Mango, Cucumber and Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna Teriyaki Salad
Bourbon Cured Pork Belly and Pineapple Skewers with Bourbon Chili Glaze
Pina Colada Coconut Sorbet created by local ice cream creator Pint’s Peak in a housemade Dark Chocolate Dipped Waffle Cone Bowl
Guests also received free tasters of our Colorado Straight Bourbon and free bourbon shot glasses with the purchase of a Bourbon cocktail.
