Meet Our Platinum Rum
Ironton’s August Spirit of the Month is our Platinum Rum!
Bold and sweet with earthy undertones, our agricole-style rum is the perfect addition to your Colorado inspired tiki cocktails. Distilled from Panela - a pure, unrefined sugar cane from Colombia. A longer fermentation gives the yeast time to create a fruity flavor perfect for sipping and mixing.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Bright, Banana, Apple, Brown Sugar
Palate: Sweet, Molasses, Earthy, Fruity
Make a Cocktail Using Platinum Rum at Home:
You’ll Need:
2 oz of Platinum Rum
.5 oz of Grapefruit Juice
.5 oz of Lime Juice
.5 oz of Simple Syrup
.25 oz of Amaro Liqueur
How To:
Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake.
Strain into a martini glass.
Garnish with a lime and enjoy!
